About Burton

I like dancing especially swing, salsa, and lately, blues dance.  It makes me happy.

I also love traveling, just went to Holland, biked/camped to Belgium, came back, and went to London.  Also love camping – I own 5 tents.

The Kindle was invented for me, but I still don’t own one – too busy.  I read a lot, because I love teaching myself new things.  I get my kicks figuring things out.

Right now I’m working at Network Ninja.  I consider the code we work with to be the “Everest” of code.  If you’ve ever run a marathon, climbed Everest, or done some other crazy act of endurance, then everything else seems easy afterwards.  The code we have is incredibly well done in some ways (especially Object Oriented PHP), but incredibly complicated in others.  After this any other job will seem easy.
